Hinterland Upholstery Co. officially opened its doors in July 2026 and is proudly based in Cooroy, in the heart of the Noosa Hinterland. Conveniently located less than five minutes from the Bruce Highway, we proudly service the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gympie and the wider South East Queensland region.

Founded by Ray Mifsud, Hinterland Upholstery Co. was established with a simple philosophy: deliver exceptional craftsmanship, use quality materials and treat every project with the care and attention it deserves.
After relocating from the Central Coast of New South Wales, Ray brought more than 13 years of upholstery experience to South East Queensland. Over the years, he has built a reputation for precision, reliability and meticulous attention to detail across automotive, marine, commercial and furniture upholstery.
Ray's craftsmanship has contributed to vehicles showcased at prestigious events including Chromefest and MotorEx, along with marine upholstery and clears for Sydney Harbour fleet vessels. Every project, from a small repair to a complete custom interior, is completed with the same commitment to quality and durability.
